'Finding Nemo' sequel 'Finding Dory' to hit theatres in 2015

3 April 2013

Washington, Apr. 3 (ANI): Disney announced on Tuesday that the follow-up to its much loved Oscar-winning hit 'Finding Nemo' will be titled 'Finding Dory,' and will be released on Nov. 25, 2015.

The movie, which will be directed by original 'Nemo' co-director Andrew Stanton, will focus on the little blue tang fish Dory - voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, CBS News reported.

The sequel will apparently be taking place about a year after the events of 'Nemo.'

Characters that have been included in the film are Marlin, Nemo and the 'Tank Gang' will all be back, though Pixar didn't specify whether actors including Albert Brooks and Willem Dafoe will return to voice them.

However, Disney did say that the story will be partially set along the California coastline, and will feature several new characters "including a few who will prove to be a very important part of Dory's life." (ANI)
