'Gippi' Actress Watches Shah Rukh Khan Movies When She Is Upset

We had reported sometime back that IPL chairman Lalit Modi's niece Jayati will be seen making her acting debut in Dharma Productions flick Gippi and the teenager claims that she is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan and that watching him on screen inspired her to become an actress.

In an interview, Jayati said that whenever she is upset, she watches SRK's movies as his onscreen presence is so powerful that it has the ability to make her smile. She added that seeing him on screen is the major reason why she decided to join the profession and that she wants to work with him some day.

Directed by Sonam Nair, Gippi also features Riya Vij as the protagonist and Divya Dutta as her mother.
