Hrithik Roshan: Right now there is a saturation point with KRRISH 3

By Rachana Sheth, Glamsham Editorial

Exactly a decade ago KRRISH franchise began with the film KOI MIL GAYA. But who knew including the filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, that the franchise was destined to come a long way and would cover a long journey in Bollywood. Even the lead actor Hrithik Roshan feels surprised and elated to witness the franchise enjoying 10 years, which has not been the case even with Hollywood biggies like SPIDER-MAN and SUPERMAN series.

Says Hrithik with a glee in his eyes, "If you compare with the west, films like SUPERMAN and SPIDER-MAN, have been revamped in a matter of 3-4 years but KRRISH is the only franchise which has spanned a decade and hopefully it will still go on and you will see KRRISH 4 also happening." But ask him if he finds the entire journey exhausting playing the same character again and he says, "Yes exhausting toh raha hai but thankfully we have conquered the mountain which looked impossible before making it."

He goes on to add, "KRRISH 3 has impacted my life to a great deal. It has made me into a fighting spirit. I got to learn a lot through this journey. I have learnt to control my attitude and perception after doing KRRISH 3."

Now that Hrithik has hinted about KRRISH 4, probe him if he ever reached a saturation point during the KRRISH 3 journey, as in what new could they offer in the upcoming series and he says, "Saturation point is a temporary phase but if you ask me about doing KRRISH 4 right now, I will only say please hold on. As right now there is a saturation point with KRRISH and I really can't start off immediately. I would definitely need a break," he adds, "Having said that, saturation point comes with monotony so I don't think if you are continuously traversing through in your art from one thing to other and exploring new dimensions, getting more excitement, more variety then there's no reason to reach a saturation point. Saturation only comes when you are not enthusiastic about what you are doing."

Also starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranuat, Vivek Oberoi, KRRISH 3 is set to release on 1st November 2013.
