Imran Khan: 'Aamir Khan had himself stuck QSQT posters on rickshaws'

Actors Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma, who will be next seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's rustic rom-com Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, promoted their upcoming film by sticking posters of their film on cabs. At the time, Imran got a jolt of nostalgia when he spoke about his uncle Aamir Khan's film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

Imran Khan said, "I remember many years back when Aamir mamu's film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was releasing, Aamir himself had gone out with posters of the film to stick it on rickshaws. He would tell rickshaw drivers about the film and ask them if they would agree to have the posters stuck on their vehicles. Now, many years later, I am doing something similar."
Imran Khan will be seen playing a very rustic Haryanvi character named Matru for the very first time in the film, which also stars Pankaj Kapur.
