Imran Khan Used Own Clothes For 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again'

Despite being a Muslim by religion, actor Imran Khan had never played a Muslim character in any of his films so far. However, in upcoming gangland flick Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again, Imran will not only be seen playing a Muslim but also sporting traditional Muslim attire like 'pathani' suits from his own wardrobe.

A source attached to the film unit said, “Imran is leaving no stone unturned. He plays a Muslim character for the first time, and to perform the role to his best, Imran got his stylist to incorporate the look of a common Muslim man. He's used some of his own Pathani suits, since they fit the character. He worked closely with his stylist because being a Muslim himself, he wanted to get every detail right.” Imran, who will also be seen sporting a moustache in the film, also explored areas like Dongri and Mohammad Ali Road, to study the mannerisms and body language of the youths in such areas.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again is directed by Milan Luthria and also stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.
