JAB TAK HAIN JAAN Trailer: The king of romance Shahrukh Khan back!

By Rachana Sheth, Glamsham Editorial

The keenly awaited trailer of Shahrukh Khan's Yash Chopra directed JAB TAK HAI JAAN with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma as leading ladies is out. Yash Chopra returns to direction after eight long years with his muse, Shahrukh Khan. And going by the trailer we can see the King of romance, Shahrukh back in his elements!

Shahrukh and Katrina, who have been paired for the first time, look endearing together. Though SRK has shared screen space with Anushka Sharma earlier in the film RAB NE BANA DI JODI, their jodi looks equally refreshing and entertaining.

The entire trailer will see Shahrukh reciting the poem, penned by Aditya Chopra, in the background. Well this style quite reminds us of Big B's two most popular films KABHIE KABHIE and SILSILA, which were directed Yash Chopra only, where he recited the poetry - 'Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein Khayal Aata Hai' and 'Main Aur Meri Tanhaai Aksar Yeh Baatein Karte Hai...' from the respective films. Both of these YRF films became cult and are considered iconic films and were a huge milestone for Big's B career. Now all eyes are set on JAB TAK HAI JAAN as it brings the two masters of romance director Yash Chopra and actor Shahrukh Khan. In fact, speculations are rife that post DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAAYENGE (DDLJ), which created history in Indian Cinema, JAB TAK HAIN JAAN will recreate the same magic. Lets Wait and Watch!

The film has been shot in the picturesque locales of London, Ladakh and Kashmir which is evident in the video. Shahrukh Khan plays an army officer Samar. The film brings together the two stalwarts of industry and Oscar winners, A. R. Rahman, who has scored the music of the film and Gulzar, who has penned the lyrics.

JAB TAK HAI JAAN is slated to hit the screens this Diwali on November 13, 2012!
