By Enkayaar, Glamsham Editorial

Coinciding with the Valentine Day, Tips films is releasing a love story with a twist. Titled as JAYANTABHAI KI LUV STORY, indeed the title also is different is a romantic crime thriller set in Mumbai and it would be the first film which has been shot extensively in the heritage location of Mumbai Kotachiwadi. Indeed, Kotachiwadi is one of the iconic landmarks of Mumbai , and by giving it a cinematic representation Kumar Taurani and his team has done a yeomen service to the cause of the architectural heritages spread around Mumbai. The music of the film given by Sachin Jigar has already become a rage online and Atif Aslam, the singer is playing himself in the movie.

Starring Vivek Oberoi and Neha Sharma JBKLS has been directed by Vinnil Markan it is a mad comic caper, a tapori film so to say where a street ka bhai falls in love with a girl from the middle class Mumbai family, but with a twist that the girl, who has been nicknamed as Bhadotri in the film is herself a spitfire character.

The genre of gangster falling in love has been a genre that has been dabbling with by the filmmakers on a regular basis and in most of stories of such kinds, the location of the film is Mumbai, probably owing to the fact that Mumbai is the place where the youth of the times, use the element of bhaigiri to gain supposed respect and then leverage that position to woo a girl.

It was in Shahrukh Khan starred KABHI HAAN KABHI NAA that a gangster romance was dealt with in a comic manner, underlining the fact that while the individual may have become a gangster, he also had a heart which pulsated and he could reach out to others who were in a situation of anguish, Goga Kapoor giving one of his most memorable performances in his acting career.

Shahrukh Khan had played the role of such a character in RAAM JAANE, but the difference in RAAM JAANE lay in the fact that while SRK was in love with Juhi Chawla, she loved Vivek Mushran.

For Vivek Oberoi, who has played the role of gangsters with aplomb in the past to play it with a sense of humor in JAYANTABHAI KI LUV STORY would indeed provide him an opportunity to establish his mark as a performer of eminence.
