John Abraham Claims 'Shootout At Wadala' Does Not Glorify Gangsters

Bollywood actor John Abraham, who will be next seen playing the role of ruthless gangster Manya Surve in Sanjay Gupta's Shootout At Wadala, claimed that the film does not glorify gangsters in any way.

Talking about the film, John said, “We all have played gangsters in the film, but we have not glorified them at all, we have shown gangsters like they are in real life. We have tried to stay close to the facts.”

Based on S. Hussain Zaidi's book Dongri To Dubai, Shootout At Wadala is about the first ever recorded encounter in the history of the Mumbai Police and the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood, Tusshar Kapoor and others.
