Filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi, known for making women-centric films like 'Rudaali' and 'Daman', is now reportedly planning to make a biopic on the life of late actress Priya Rajvansh, who was allegedly murdered in 2000 by the sons of late filmmaker Chetan Anand.
Confirming the news, Lajmi was quoted saying that she was horrified by the circumstances of Priya's death and that she will present the story as a murder mystery. It is also being said that Lajmi is planning to rope in Madhuri Dixit for the role.
However, when contacted, Lajmi said that she would not like to discuss the details of the casting as of now but added that she is looking for an actress with a certain amount of maturity, elegance and beauty to play the role of Priya.
