Kangana Ranaut: It is flattering to be sexy for Aamir Khan

By Urvi Parikh, Glamsham Editorial

If the reports are to be believed, few years back, ace actor Aamir Khan had replaced Kangana Ranaut with late actress Jiah Khan in his film GHAJINI following a misunderstanding and infact even ignored her at an event.

However, recently when Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan appeared on Karan Johar's juicy chat show, he expressed that he finds Kangana Ranaut the sexiest actress in Bollywood. Ask Kangana on how she takes this compliment, and she responds, "I agree with him (Aamir Khan). He is absolutely right. But honestly it is flattering because Mr. Khan is somebody who I have always looked up to. I have always liked his working style and the kind of person he is. He is very intellectual and honest."

She further adds, "To be sexy for him I know what sexy for him must be. I presume he would probably like somebody who is self-made, courageous or someone who has a voice of her own. And I would love to be that person. I find his comments very encouraging and it motivates to be myself and continue to do what I am doing for so long."

Kangana even clarified on the GHAJINI fiasco and said, "I didn't back out of GHAJINI. I was never offered the role. Infact there were some auditions going on and I was called by the agency and I don't know if the news reached Mr. Khan or even if he was the concerned person. And the same person later called and said they have casted someone else. So it was that small a matter."

Meanwhile, Kangana is currently overwhelmed with the response she has garnered for her upcoming women-centric film QUEEN, whose first trailer has been received tremendously well by both the audiences and the critics.

Presented by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, QUEEN is a Phantom Production. The film, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon, is directed by Vikas Bahl, and produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap. QUEEN is scheduled for release on February 28, 2014.
