Filmmaker Karan Johar had to stall the shoot of his film Bombay Talkies, when he was filming on the roads in Mumbai. The reason is that Karan's shoot was engulfed by an enthusiastic crowd. However, Karan seemed more comfortable as he moved the shoot to a Bandra bungalow.
Rani Mukerji and Randeep Hooda will be coming together for the first time in Bombay Talkies. They will play a married couple and the other young actor in the picture is Saket, a newcomer.
On Karan's left is Kayoze Irani, Boman Irani's son, who is working as an assistant director for this film. Kayoze made his acting debut in Student Of The Year. Bombay Talkies features segments by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee. The film is set to release on May 3, 100 years after the first Indian film Raja Harishchandra released.
