Madhuri Dixit all set to score a hat-trick in 2013

By Joginder Tuteja, Glamsham Editorial

2013 is indeed turning out to be a huge hat-trick year for Madhuri Dixit. Just when one thought that it could be one real wait for Madhuri to be seen on the big screen

again, the latest plans have revealed that she would be enjoying as many as three major outings at regular intervals. These would be in YEH JAWAANI HAI

DEEWANI, GULAB GANG and DEDH ISHQIYA.

"While her specially designed item number in YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI had seemed to have been in limbo, that hasn't been the case, now that the

soundtrack is complete. Her track in the film is called 'Ghaghra' and Rekha Bhardwaj is the singer. In fact she is also addressed as Mohini in the song, hence

reminding audience of the cult character that she had played in TEZAAB while gyrating to 'Ek Do Teen'. While that was a stage show number, this one is a

'mujra' where Ranbir Kapoor would be joining her as well," informs a source.

Meanwhile she has also wrapped up the shoot of Anubhav Sinha produced GULAB GANG.

"Entire shooting of GULAB GANG is complete. The film would release in the second half of the year," the source adds.

Meanwhile Madhuri has moved on to DEDH ISHQIYA which is making some good progress. Though it was earlier believed that the film would arrive only next year

since Madhuri would have her hands full with GULAAB GANG, it is now confirmed that the Vishal Bhardwaj production would release before end of the year.

"Madhuri has waited six years to begin her third innings after a less than impressive comeback in the form of AAJA NACHLE. Now she is returning with a

vengeance. Here is hoping that the hat-trick is indeed worth it," says a filmmaker.

Incidentally, she was also seen in a 10 second appearance for the special music video of BOMBAY TALKIES which arrived last weekend.
