Nawazuddin Siddiqui Wants Raunchy Item Songs To Be Banned

On one hand, where filmmakers are up in arms against the moral policing indulged in by the Censor Board as far as sexual and violent content is concerned, talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui supports the Censor Board and claims that raunchy item songs should be banned.

In an interview, the actor said that ban on item songs is quite necessary as when such songs are played on the television; the children in the family also watch it and end up learning nothing other than this. He added that such songs have a negative impact on children and as such, banning such songs is a good step.

Siddiqui, who was last seen playing a lame hustler in Talaash, will be next seen in Aatma, where he will be starring opposite Bipasha Basu.
