Neeraj Pandey Drops Plans For 'A Wednesday' Prequel

Director Neeraj Pandey, who made his directorial debut with A Wednesday, was supposed to make a prequel to the movie, which would explore the background of the characters in the film, but now it seems that the plans have been dropped.

In a recent interview, when the director was asked about the status of the prequel, he said that the plans to make such a film were dropped after he realized that there was no point in stretching things just for the heck of it.

Pandey's next film Special 26 stars Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee and Anupam Kher in lead roles and revolves around the cat and mouse game between a CBI investigator and a bunch of con-men, who pose as CBI agents to dupe and rob rich businessmen.
