Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's David, will next be featured in Susi Ganesh’s Shortcut Romeo. The actor will be seen in a fighting sequence with the tribes of Kenya in the upcoming film. Sources reveal that for this scene, no ropes or fighting equipments were used, and that the action in Shortcut Romeo is much superior to what Neil has done in his previous films.
Talking about the fight sequence, director Susi Ganesh says, “For the first time, any Bollywood filmmaker has explored Kenya. It is difficult to shoot in this country as we didn’t get vanity vans or air-conditioned cars. In the scene, Neil had to fight with the tribes without using ropes or any fighting equipment. Even then, the scenes have come out beautifully.”
Shortcut Romeo, the remake of Susi Ganesh's Tamil film Thiruttu Payale, also stars Ameesha Patel and Puja Gupta. It releases on June 21, 2013.
