"I have never demeaned anyone personally," - Sajid Khan

Sajid Khan is known to be someone who makes tall claims about his films. Often, owing to his statements in the media, the director, who has made super hits such as Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2, appears as 'arrogant'. He also doesn't believe in acknowledging the critics, who, more often than not, have panned his films. Sajid himself has been a critic in the past, when he used to have a show on television.

When asked if he is justified in his attitude towards the critics, he said, "My image on television was that of a host, comedian, someone who makes fun of other films. The thing is I was 22 when I was doing all that. I was stupid then. Today, when I look back, I feel like going back to the 22-year-old me and tell him to shut up!"

He also defended his own 'criticisms' back then. Sajid said, "I've never demeaned anyone personally. I've always spoken about their performances."

A remake of the 1983 blockbuster, Himmatwala starring Jeetendra and Sridevi, the film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Paresh Rawal and Mahesh Manjrekar and is slated to release on March 29, 2013.
