Legendary playback singer Manna Dey passed away after a prolonged illness in Bangalore

The Indian film industry lost another of its stalwarts when the 94-year-old singer, who had been ailing for the last four months passed way in the early hours of October 24th. The legendary singer was admitted to the hospital in July this year after he complained of respiratory problems and lung infection.
