Priyanka Chopra: 'I feel bad that 'Barfi!' didn't get recognised at the National Awards'

Though Priyanka Chopra's much acclaimed film Barfi! was India's official entry to the Oscars this year, the film didn't get any recognition at the prestigious National Awards.

The list of the National Awards winners was announced recently and Priyanka, who played an autistic girl in the movie, is quite upset about the fact, that the film didn't win at the National Awards. At a recently held event when she was asked about it, she said, “Of course i feel bad that Barfi! didn't get recognised at the National Awards, but it's the jury's decision.”

Priyanka's cousin Parineeti Chopra has won a special mention at the National Awards, this year, for her performance in Ishaqzaade and PeeCee is very happy for her little sister. “I had to explain her, what special mention means but I'm happy for her and now there are two National Award winners in the Chopra family,” she stated.

Priyanka won a National Award for her brilliant performance in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion.
