London, April 5 (ANI): The Queen has been awarded the 'most memorable Bond girl yet' as she was honored by the stars of stage, screens and television at a glittering reception.

Actor Sir Kenneth Branagh presented the monarch with an honorary Bafta in recognition to her lifetime support to the British film and television, Sky news reported.

Bafta chairman John Willis paid tribute to the Queen and drew laughter from the audience as he referred to her famous cameo role alongside James Bond last year, when she appeared to parachute into the London Olympics stadium.

Willis praised the Queen's 'tireless support' to the industry, adding that if she should wish to venture further into the British film industry there were plenty of people with scripts offering marvellous parts. (ANI)
