QUEEN: Real eunuchs dance in Kangana Ranaut's reel wedding

By Glamsham Editorial

Recently a funny incident transpired on the sets of the film QUEEN starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Yadav. It so happened that the whole unit of the film was gearing up for shooting a wedding scene. The decor was being done, flowers bought etc.

Nearby hijaras (eunuchs) heard the sounds of shehnai and they saw baaraatis. They presumed it to be a real wedding, so they landed up there and started dancing. Everyone on the sets were hassled at what was happening.

Eventually, the unit came to know the reason hijaras were there. Since the entire set and all the arrangements looked very real. Later on the unit had a hearty laugh over it.

However, director of the film, Vikas Bahl thought that it will be interesting to incorporate hijaras in the song. In Northern India it is very common to have hijaras dancing at the wedding. Soon after the ADs approached the eunuchs and informed them that it's not a real wedding but a shoot set-up. And convinced them to be a part of their shoot.
