Rahul Bose May Start Second Directorial Venture This Year

Rahul Bose made his directorial debut with Everybody Says I'm Fine! over a decade ago. Although the film was quite well received, Rahul has not directed any other film since then. Buzz is that the actor-director is all set to begin his second project soon. Apparently, Anurag Kashyap has shown faith in his script and may produce the film too.

For over five years, Rahul has been trying to adapt Mohsin Hamid's Moth Smoke. Rahul was quoted saying that before approaching Anurag, he knocked on the doors of all possible production houses, independent entities and financiers, but none of them were willing to take the risk. However, Rahul feels 2013 will be different.

He further stated that he has spent more than six years on the script and that he has written 18 drafts so far. He concluded by saying that hopefully, they will start shooting in the middle of the year. Rahul will be next seen in Deepa Mehta's Midnight's Children
