Ram Charan Teja Claims 'Road Rage' Accident Was Staged To Grab His Attention

On Monday, we had reported how South star Ram Charan Teja got into the 'Angry Young Man' mode while driving in Hyderabad on Sunday, when he directed his bodyguards to assault two men in a car following an accident. At the time, there were rumours that the police were not taking any action against the star despite complaints by the two victims.

However, the plot seems to have thickened now as Teja claims that the two men had deliberately bumped their car into his vehicle (an Aston Martin) to grab his attention. Teja further went on to say that the two men, who are engineers by profession, apologized to him later and also sent a letter to the police, in which they confessed to having created the entire drama on the road with the intention of grabbing his attention near the traffic signal.

Ram Charan Teja, who is the son of South superstar and Union Minister Chiranjeevi, will make his Bollywood debut with the remake to Zanjeer, where he will play the role of upright cop Vijay Khanna, a role that was essayed by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the original. The remake also stars Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Mahie Gill and Prakash Raj.
