Ram-Leela: Box-office Predictions

The upcoming release is Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s desi portrayal of Shakespeare`s Romeo and Juliet- Ram Leela. The movie will hit theatres on November 15, 2013. With the blockbuster release of Krissh 3, the hopes from this movie are pretty high to see the sizzling chemistry between the much talked about lead stars of the movie (Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh). The trailers have been successful in drawing the attention of the audience so far. The tag line "Goliyon ki Raas leela" explains the action that is embedded in this love story by Bhansali.

After Black and Guzaarish, Bhansali is back to directing a colorful movie, set in Gujarat, which reminds us of the visual masterpiece Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. It has further worked as a trigger in persuading the audience to watch it. Ranveer Singh is all set to mesmerize the audience with his performance. This year has been very lucky for Deepika Padukone; with four hits in a row she is all set to groove the audience on the music of Nagada. There are other powerhouse performers to watch out for like Supriya Pathak and Riccha Chadda. All in all, the audience is eagerly waiting for the movie. Numerologically however, there are indications that post reviews, there is going to be a slight fall in the box office collections. The key part of the movie is the on screen or the much anticipated off screen chemistry between Ranveer and Deepika. The movie is already in controversy due to its title. The religious sentiments attached to "Ramlila" led to an opposition to the sensuous trailer and alleged "misuse" of the word.  Leaving all these publicity tactics of a controversial title and the stars` alleged link up aside, the blending of art and commerce indicate a restricted audience for Ram Leela in comparison to the recently released sci-fi movie Krissh 3.

The movie traces the love between the two rival families of Gujarat. The focal point is going to be the portrayal of this desi love story and the level to which it has been justified. The sumptuous item number by Priyanka Chopra on the title track is already very popular. The songs of the movie have created their magic on screen. According to numerology, the movie has bright chances when we combine the numbers of the lead pair (Ranveer-6th July 1985 and Deepika-5th January 1986) and the director (Sanjay Leela Bhansali-24th February 1963), all add up to the lucky numbers 3, 6, 8, which is in sync with the lucky day of 15th November. Further, when we combine the sun signs Cancer and Capricorn of both the stars, it makes a perfect celestial pair. As per the astroyogi astrologers, both numerologically and astrologically, this movie will have an above average business at the box office and will successfully touch the margin of 70 crores in the first week. Unlike Krissh 3, the box office predictions of this movie are not very high. The movie has mixed reviews in store; it will be appreciated by the film critics. In addition, Ram-Leela will be a tough competitor to Kangana Ranaut`s Rajjo, which will be released on the same day!
