The normally well-behaved scion of the Kapoor Khandaan lost his cool while answering a question by a media person in the press conference called to unveil the first look of his film YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and UTV and is all set to be release on May 31st, 2013.
The question that got the BARFI! star's back up was addressed to Deepika Padukone and was about the last dialogue in the theatrical trailer where Deepika (Naina) tells Ranbir (Bunny) that if she stayed with him any longer she may fall in love with him...ONCE AGAIN.
The media-person wanted to know if this was a deliberate attempt to use their past relationship to promote the film and if Deepika plans to have another tattoo to bolster its publicity campaign. This got Ranbir's back up and he ticked off the journalist by terming the question 'behooda' (uncouth, in bad taste). He did not stop at that. He also accused him of trying to show off to his back office colleagues that he could ask such offensive questions.
However, Deepika's dialogue in the trailer and the way it is structured is an obvious tongue-in-cheek reference to her past relationship with Ranbir and the rising star went a bit overboard in reacting to it in this manner. He was quite protective about her and tried to defend her more than once during the press conference.
