Ranbir Kapoor To Play A Car Thief In 'Besharam'?

Actor and youth icon Ranbir Kapoor is known for playing diverse roles- from a Sikh salesman to a political scion to a mute and deaf man to a Casanova, he has done it all.

Now, the actor, who will be next seen in Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam, will reportedly play the role of a car thief. The first look poster of the film was revealed some time back and showed Ranbir wearing a 'tapori' get up and sitting in the boot of a bright pink car. Confirming the news, Abhinav added that Ranbir is doing full justice to the character. Interestingly, the film also stars Ranbir's parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, who will essay the roles of Haryanvi cops.

We cannot help but wonder if this turns out to be like a Bunty Aur Babli scenario, with the son (Abhishek Bachchan) playing an outlaw and the father (Amitabh Bachchan) playing a cop on his trail.
