RiRi set to debut fashion collection in London Fashion Week

Washington, Jan. 18 (ANI): Rihanna will be unveiling her collection for a British brand River Island during next month's London Fashion Week.

The Fashion Week organizers have listed the 24-year-old singer on its official calendar of fall previews as they sent out registration materials on Thursday to the editors, stylists and retailers who cover designer collections.

The 24-year-old's first collection of clothing and accessories will be shown on February 16 and items will be available in River Island stores in the UK, the US and Japan at Opening Ceremony starting on March 5, CBS News reported.

Rihanna said in a statement that launching at LWF is a dream come true for her.

She said that she has wanted to design her own collection for a long time and to present it for River Island alongside all the other great design talent is a real privilege.

She added that she couldn't wait to see her fans and the fashion press' reaction on her collection. (ANI)
