8 February 2013

Actor-producer Riteish Deshmukh, who recently formed his own team named Veer Marathi for the CCL championships (Celebrity Cricket League), thanked Salman Khan for suggesting the idea for a Marathi team.

At an event, Riteish said, “I was a part of Mumbai Heroes earlier, but it was Salman who planted the germ of an idea in my head about forming a Marathi team. Following this, I spoke to Sohail Khan and decided to part ways with Mumbai Heroes and form my own team.”
