Actor turned Producer Riteish Deshmukh played his role beyond just the producer. He decided to make a difference and extend the message of the film to the real audiences directly. Riteish hosted a special screening of his maiden production venture - BALAK PALAK for the students of his own school at INOX in Nariman Point, Mumbai at 9.30am. The screening was aimed at the higher secondary section of the students of his school - GD Somani Memorial School.

BP, directed by one of Marathi cinema's most renowned and respected directors Ravi Jadhav, is a youth oriented film that deals with a very interesting concept of sex education among children and how it's dealt with by parents. The film was selected 2 prestigious film festivals - South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF) in New York and MAMI in Mumbai and has been receiving tremendous response at the box office from not just the Marathi belts but also the non-Marathi belts given the universal appeal of the story and given Riteish's association with it.

Talking about what made him host this screening, producer Riteish Deshmukh says, "I was actually inspired by the critics, who wrote in their reviews that every Balak (child) and Palak (parent) should watch this film. The film does make you think about the importance of sex education. I wanted to share this work of ours with my school G D Somani and its students. I'm glad Principal Seymour instantly agreed to the screening of my film for the secondary students."
