Rohit Shetty, known for the larger-than-life stunts in his films, directed the action in Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, Khiladi 786. The film's director, Ashish R Mohan, has assisted Rohit for seven years and because of the rapport they share, the Bol Bachchan director agreed to direct a few action scenes for the film.
Sources reveal that before the shooting started, Rohit discussed the stunts at length with Akshay. The scene had to establish the actor's character, Bahattar Singh. Sources further added that in his opening scene, which took five-and-a-half days to shoot, Akshay dressed as a cop, drove into a tabela, where goons are creating trouble and beats them up.
The film, also starring Asin, is set to release on December 7.
