Rolling Stones' 300 pounds tickets for Hyde Park gig sparks outrage among fans

London, April 05 (ANI): Rolling Stones fans reacted angrily after prime standing tickets for the band's Hyde Park gig in London this summer went on sale for more than 300 pounds.

Those hoping that the one-off show on July 6 would be more affordable than the band's 50th anniversary gig at the O2 Arena last year, were left disappointed after it was revealed that the concert prices started at 130 pounds, the Daily Express reported.

Fans are being asked for 299 pounds plus a booking fee for standing tickets in a special enclosure near the stage.

Even the very lowest priced tickets for standing at the back of the park cost 95 pounds plus a booking fee.

Tickets for the only seats at the gig cost an astonishing 1,120.50 pounds for the Kings of Rock Package, which includes entry to Bon Jovi the day before.

Some fans have reacted furiously on online forums.

"Waited on phone all morning and couldn't even get through to secure payment," an online fan posted.

"330 pounds for Hyde Park. Oops, they did it again," another wrote on an internet forum site. (ANI)
