Actor Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen playing a dashing RAW agent in Agent Vinod, will be next seen in Cocktail, a rom-com revolving around three friends. However, the Pataudi royal claims that initially when he was approached with the idea, he agreed to produce it but was not too keen on acting in it.
It seems that Khan wasn't very enthusiastic about another rom-com as he had worked in rom-coms before so it was decided that another actor should play the lead role. However, when that did not work out, co-producer Dinesh Vijan and others associated with the film insisted that Khan get involved in the film as an actor too and Saif finally agreed to do so.
Cocktail, which is directed by Homi Adajania, also stars Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty.
