Sajid Khan Worked As A DJ For Pocket Money During College

Director Sajid Khan might be known as one of the most entertaining filmmakers in recent times, but not many know that the funnyman used to work as a disc jockey during his college days!

Apparently, the Housefull director, who is currently promoting his upcoming release Himmatwala, used to work as a DJ at a popular hotspot during his college days in the 80s for the sake of pocket money. Now, decades later, Khan will bring back his college days by operating as a DJ at a popular night-spot, where the Himmatwala team will launch their disco song Thank God it's Friday! What's more, actress Sonakshi Sinha, who will perform the song in the movie, will perform live to it. A source said, “It is a disco song which Sonakshi is doing in Himmatwala, for which Sajid decided we should launch it in a popular party place. He immediately called up Sonakshi if she could drop by for a live performance and she readily agreed on a condition that Sajid would be the DJ in the house.”

Himmatwala stars Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia and is the remake of a popular 80s film starring Jeetendra and Sridevi.
