Sanjay Dutt Resumes Shooting For 'Policegiri'

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who was recently convicted under provisions of the Arms Act for possessing illegal weapons, has reportedly resumed shooting for his upcoming cop film Policegiri.

Sanjay was spotted shooting for the climax scene of the film at Kamalistan Studios. A remake of South flick Saamy, Policegiri will have Sanjay playing the role of a maverick cop. In the film, Dutt will be paired opposite Prachi Desai.

The Supreme Court recently upheld actor Sanjay Dutt's Arms Act conviction and sentenced him to 5 years imprisonment for his role in the 1993 bomb blasts case. Dutt, who has already spent around 18 months behind bars, will now serve a sentence of around three and a half years. Recently, Dutt also declared that he respects the decision of the court and that he would not seek a pardon.
