Shabana Azmi Wants Shah Rukh Khan To Play Secondary Roles

While filmmakers wait in line to cast him as the lead hero of their movies, actress-social activist Shabana Azmi wants Shah Rukh Khan to do secondary roles. This wish of hers, comes close on the heels of SRK’s announcement that from now on, the names of his films' actresses will come before his own, on the credit roles.

Shabana took to Twitter to praise Shah Rukh for his initiative and also asked him to play secondary roles in women-centric films, to make it ‘more viable’. “SRK glad u r giving heroines credit above your title pls also do few heroine oriented films in which u play 2ndry role 2 make it more viable (sic),” Azmi posted on the micro-blogging site.

Presently Khan is busy with his forthcoming film Chennai Express, which stars Deepika Padukone opposite him and is directed by Rohit Shetty.
