Shah Rukh Khan Launches 'RA.One' Movie Channel On YouTube

Shah Rukh Khan's super hero film, RA.One is not only painting the nation red, but has also taken the cyber space by storm. The baadshah of Bollywood launched a custom built movie channel on the numero uno video platform YouTube for RA.One today.

The movie channel on YouTube will be a one stop destination for all promotional video content and special extras for RA.One. Fans can look forward to exclusives with Shah Rukh Khan's thoughts on RA.One, behind the scenes shots, uncut footage of the star cast, and videos of the RA.One premiere and red carpet events planned in London.

On the occasion Khan said, "YouTube has been an integral platform for movie promotions in Hollywood. Since I wanted to do something that has never been done for any Indian film...so for RA.One I leveraged upon this potential of digital media and create an experience on YouTube and Google that has never been done for any Indian film."

And that is not all! The specially designed channel will also host games, including the first social game from India and will give chance to users to create promos from clips, music and dialogues of the film.

"This concept is completely in sync with RA.One as the film is about digital world. So we decided to launch it on a digital platform like YouTube. Furthermore, it will help me take the film to more people. I am thrilled and excited about it," said an elated Shah Rukh Khan.

This phenomenon though new to India is already viral in Hollywood and films like Expendables and Skadoosh!! Kung Fu Panda 2 have already used this platform and the idea was an instant hit too.
