Shahid Kapoor Learning Kannada On ?Phata Poster Nikla Hero? Sets

Usually, it is seen that actors start learning a new language if and only when the script of a particular film demands it. However, Shahid Kapoor, who will be next seen playing a middle-class Maharashtrian boy in Phata Poster Nikla Hero, is reportedly learning to speak in Kannada after being fascinated with the language.

Sasha, as he is fondly known, is currently shooting in Mysore for the flick and while on the sets, he overheard some of the crew members conversing in Kannada. Shahid apparently got curious about the language and has now started trying to pick up the language. A source attached to the film unit said, “Shahid has been trying to pick up basic words of Kannada and hears their diction and pronunciation carefully. He is always trying to learn new things."

Phata Poster Nikla Hero is about a young man, who aspires to join the film industry, despite the disapproval of his mother, played by Padmini Kolhapure.
