Bollywood's King of Romance, late Mr. Yash Chopra's 81st birth anniversary celebration was indeed a grand affair organized by the filmmaker's wife Pamela Chopra. Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan along with the nine Bollywood beauties Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi and Rekha strutted on the ramp, giving a fashion tribute to the legendary filmmaker's five decade long career.

Shahrukh Khan, who was like Yash Chopra's second son, looked dapper in black suit as he was the showstopper of the fashion show. He was the only actor present at the event. SRK has worked with Yash Chopra in DIL TOH PAGAL HAI, DARR, DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE, VEER ZAARA and also the veteran's last film JAB TAK HAI JAAN.

Actress Parineeti Chopra may not have got the opportunity of working with Yash Chopra, but the actress has started her career with YRF banner. Parineeti's all three films - LADIES VS RICKY BAHL, ISHAQZAADE and the recent release SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE. The actress, dressed in a heavy ghagra choli paid tribute to legendary actress Madhubala.

Sexy Anushka Sharma walked the ramp donning a black saree with a red bindi. While the actress, who has worked with Yash Raj Films in RAB NE BANA DI JODI, BADMAASH COMPANY, BAND BAAJA BAARAAT, LADIES VS RICKY BAHL, also worked with late Yash Chopra in his last film JAB TAK HAI JAAN.

Katrina Kaif, who looked every bit of gorgeous in a cream lehnga, has worked with Yash Chopra in his last directorial movie JAB TAK HAI JAAN. The actress has also worked with the banner for the movies EK THA TIGER, NEW YORK, MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN and now would be seen in the upcoming movie DHOOM 3 with Aamir Khan.

Preity Zinta worked with the veteran in his 2004 hit film VEER ZAARA. Besides, she has also worked with the coveted banner in the films SALAAM NAMASTE, JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM. The actress' outfit at the event reflected her Zaara's character from the film.

Rani Mukerji may have been linked with Yash Chopra's elder son, Aditya Chopra, but the actress shared a very close relation with the filmmaker also. Rani, who often referred to him as Yash uncle, donned an embroidered pink ghagra and is remembered for her iconic role in VEER ZAARA. Rani has worked in maximum number of films for the banner - MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE, SAATHIYA, BUNTY AUR BABLI, HUM TUM, DIL BOLE HADDIPA, TA RA RUM PUM, LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG, THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC and now upcoming film MARDAANI.

Yash Chopra discovered Juhi Chawla first in CHANDNI (a small cameo in one of the songs) and then she starred in DARR as leading lady. The actress also worked with the banner for the film AAINA. Since then the actress has had a different image. The K...K...K...Kiran sizzled in a white and red chiffon ghagra at the event.

The vivacious Madhuri Dixit donned a black transparent saree and reminded everybody of 'Pooja' from Yash Chopra's love story DIL TOH PAGAL HAI and later starred in AAJA NACHLE. With that amazing smile and look-to-die-for, Madhuri surely charmed the audience!

The chiffon sarees and the colored bindis that Sridevi made famous, came dressed in Yash Chopra's CHANDNI avatar, the film that gave both Yash Chopra and Sridevi's career a new high. She yet again worked with Yash Chopra in the film LAMHE. The CHANDNI girl was seen wearing a white ghagra with heavy silver jewelery.

But the highlight of the event surely was the evergreen beauty Rekha, who took everyone by surprise by grooving on the song 'Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum from' from the film SILSILA. The actress was seen wearing a gold saree with heavy jewellery.
