By Abid, Glamsham EditorialRecords are meant to be broken, goes the adage, and the same was emphasized upon by none other than the king himself, Shah Rukh Khan, and that too after CHENNAI EXPRESS re-wrote box-office history by becoming the biggest grosser of the Hindi film industry.
Coming back to our headlines, as we had informed our patrons last week, on Monday the 4th of November 2013, Hrithik Roshan's KRRISH 3 became the biggest single day netter by beating the previous record of Shah Rukh Khan's CHENNAI EXPRESS and Salman Khan's EK THA TIGER. And now, KRRISH 3 has gone ahead and shattered another existing record.
As per our reliable trade and distribution inputs, the Rakesh Roshan directed KRRISH 3 has netted 34 crore during its second weekend (8-10 November), beating the long standing 33 crore record of Aamir Khan's 3 IDIOTS, established during the film's second weekend.
KRRISH 3 has thus netted 160 crore in 10-days from India, while the dubbed version(s) has added another 7-8 crore.

With Yash Raj Films' Aamir and Katrina starrer, DHOOM 3, all set to release during perfectionist Khan's favourite (and record establishing) Christmas week slot, one never knows what new benchmarks will be set!
