Sharman Joshi-Mahie Gill's GANG OF GHOSTS' release preponed

Satish Kaushik's GANG OF GHOSTS has been advanced by a couple of weeks. Though the film was being planned for April 11 release, it would now have an early arrival on 28th March.

"This way the film would also make the most of school/college exams that would be over around the same timeline. Since the film is a crazy comedy with some funny and loveable ghosts being the central protagonists, one can well imagine the kind of fun which is in store for the youngsters," informs a source attached to the film.

Boasting of an ensemble cast comprising of Sharman Joshi and Mahie Gill with newcomer Meera Chopra making her Bollywood debut, GANG OF GHOSTS features Anupam Kher, Parambrata (of KAHAANI fame) and Saurabh Shukla in key roles. A large supporting cast comprising of Rajpal Yadav, Chunkey Pandey, Yashpal Sharma, Asrani, Vijay Verma, Rajesh Khattar and J.Brandon Hill further makes this tale about the 'occupants of a haunted house' interesting.

GANG OF GHOSTS was earlier supposed to arrive alongside BHOOTHNATH RETURNS due to which the clash was pretty much being touted as the 'clash of the ghosts', considering the fact that Amitabh Bachchan plays a ghost in the film. However, an early arrival for GANG OF GHOSTS means 'ghosts' from both outings would pretty much rest in peace now. Pun intended!

The film is directed by Satish Kaushik, who is also producing the film with his banner Satish Kaushik Entertainment along with Ganesh Jain and Ratan Jain of Venus Records and Tapes Pvt. Ltd.
