Stuntmen Agitation Stalls Sanjay Dutt's Policegiri Shoot

While Sanjay Dutt wants to wrap up all his projects before he surrender to the police, Bollywood's local stunt artistes are foiling his plans. Local stuntmen have gone on an agitation over under-representation in T.P. Aggarwal's Sanjay Dutt starrer Policegiri.

Team Policegiri is presently shooting in Hyderabad and Chennai's stunt artistes are demanding 50% representation in the film however, according to industry norms an action director is required to hire 70% of the crew from local stunt artistes association. This has caused a tiff between Mumbai and Chennai's artistes and the  shoot has been stalled.

Sanjay Dutt has tried to broker peace between the two unions but the issue has not been resolved, yet. Rashid Mehta, of the local stunt artistes association has revealed that Agarwal has told them that he'll use only 50% of the local stuntmen and will pay for the remaining 20% who'll not be a part of the movie. He further added that they don't want charity and just want the rules to be followed.

Dutt, has only 27 days more before he surrenders and he has already lost three days of shooting, because of this agitation. He also has to complete his other two films Zanjeer and P.K.
