Suresh Achu to direct 'Pottaas Bomb'

Thiruvanathapuram, Dec 22 (IANS) Suresh Achu, who has carved a niche for himself in the advertising world, is set to weild the megaphone for Malayalam movie "Pottaas Bomb".

The film revolves around three girls, who elope from a juvenile home in Kerala. Police tracks them down and catch them in Tamil Nadu. The story chronicles their return journey from Tamil Nadu to Kerala.

It is produced by Dr.Sreejith and Asokan under the banner People Cinema. The film features debutants Anu Sithara, Chinju Mohan, Vishnu, Achu and Arun Kumar in prominent roles.

Tini Tom, Indrans, Kottayam Nazeer, Sunil Sugatha, Kathal Dhandapaani, Ravikanth and Lena will be seen in supporting roles. The film goes on floors in the first week of January 2013 at Kozhikode.

Gireesh Kunnummal to direct 'Ente Classile Aa Penkutty'

Director Gireesh Kunnummal has been roped in to helm new movie "Ente Classilae Aa Penkutty".

Kunnummal has also written the screenplay and dialogues for the movie, which will see newcomers in lead roles.

The supporting cast includes Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Nedumudi Venu, Suraj, Edavela Babu, Sudeesh, Kalpana, Bindu Panicker and Anusree Devi. It is being made under the banner of Sree Mookambika Comunications.

Fahad in Priyanandanan's next

Malayalam actor Fahad Fazil is set to play the role of late poet Changapuzha Krishna Pillai in a new movie, directed by Priyanandanan.

The film is the big screen adaptation of the poet's biography "Nakshathrgalude Snehabhajanam", written by M.K. Sanu. Shabeer Thukalil is producing the movie under the banner Thukalil Films.

It will go on floors by the mid-2013.
