London, Feb 13 (ANI): It's hard to imagine that Bruce Willis once suffered from a debilitating stutter, but the 'Die Hard' star has revealed that he was once so badly affected that he saw himself as "disabled".

"I had a terrible stutter," the Daily Mail quoted him as telling GQ.

But the 57-year-old actor discovered that theatre helped him work out his childhood stammer.

He said that when he memorized words, he didn't stutter, which was just miraculous.

"That was the beginning of the gradual dispelling of my stutter. I thought I was handicapped. I couldn't talk at all," he said.

He said that he still stutters around some people now. (ANI)
