By Glamsham Editorial

UTV Motion Pictures has roped in the blockbuster actor-director Jodi of Emraan Hashmi and Kunal Deshmukh for a masala entertainer. This will be the comeback for this super hit duo who have entertained audiences with back to back hits earlier. The shoot is scheduled to start immediately after the release of GHANCHAKKAR, the quirky suspense roller coaster which is slated to release in June. The casting for the female lead is underway and would be announced soon.

Announcing the movie, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director, Studios, Disney UTV, says, "Together Emraan and Kunal are a knockout team. They have proved their mettle not once but numerous times with hit movies like JANNAT and JANNAT 2. This will be our second film with Emraan post GHANCHAKKAR where he has outperformed himself as an actor. We are confident that this hit actor-director Jodi will entice the audience with nothing less than a full-on masala entertainer."

This is going to be Emraan Hashmi's second film with the UTV Motion Pictures banner. He says, "It's great to get an opportunity to work with Kunal and UTV again. I had a great time shooting on GHANCHAKKAR and now look forward to working with UTV's talented team again. Kunal understands the pulse of the audience and knows how to get the best out of his actors. He pushes me to deliver nothing less than 100% for every shot. I really liked the script that Kunal narrated and we've decided to start the shoot immediately after the release of GHANCHAKKAR"

Kunal Deshmukh says, "This will be my first movie with UTV Motion Pictures and I am very excited. UTV has been churning out some great content for its audience. Their recent movies like BARFI!, KAI PO CHE, ABCD and PAAN SINGH TOMAR have been both genre defying and path breaking. Working with Emraan has always been great. I am extremely comfortable working with him and hope to entertain the audience with an out-and-out entertainer.
