This is the new Vauxhall/Opel Monza concept- well, part of it. Reviving the Monza nameplate for the first time since 1993, Vauxhall says this edgy new coupe will incorporate a mix of efficiency and connectivity into the blueprint of the future lineup. The design teams “sculptural artistry” shows off a sharpened front end, portraying a more aerodynamic set of lines. This forward design is matched to a set of new futuristic headlights.

The concepts “technical precision” will come in the form of a highly advanced infotainment system, paired to a driver-focused interior space. Opel describes its proud new interior arrangement as, “a quantum leap in the development of infotainment systems.”

Along with the new Monza dazzling the crowd in Frankfurt come September, rumor has it that the concept could very well preview a future model in the Buick lineup. Most likely, in the form of a coupe.

Watch as the Vauxhall/Opel Monza concept takes to the stage at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show September 12th.
