Veteran actor Pran, who is one of the most memorable villains of the Indian Film Industry, has been admitted to the Lilavati Hospital, in Mumbai owing to weakness.
The 92-year-old actor's wife has told the media that he was hospitalised about four days ago, when he complained of weakness.
Pran, who has been honoured with the title of 'Villain of the Millenium', has acted in more than 300 films, in a career spanning over six decades. In 2001, he was honoured with the prestigious Padma Bhushan by the Government of India, for his contribution to the Indian cinema.
