You might have heard about songs being leaked or scenes being leaked or in some cases even a major chunk of a movie being leaked to the media, much to the chagrin of the movie producers. However, this time a filmmaker has shocked many by deliberately releasing an elongated clip from his forthcoming venture.
Vikram Bhatt has shocked many by deciding to release a six minute clipping of his upcoming film, Dangerous Ishhq. The reason that he gives for taking such a bold step is that he is really 'confident' of the film that he has made. The film's 30-second promo which had been released online a while ago had managed to generate a lot of curiosity but wasn't able to convey the basic message of the flick, which is going back into one's past life.
Dangerous Ishhq, which is Karisma Kapoor's comeback vehicle, has the actress playing the role of a supermodel who goes through past life regression in order to find solutions to her problems that she is facing in her present life.
Bhatt feels that the 30 second clip fails to capture the basic essence of the film, which has a very complex storyline and dwells into protagonists' previous life as well as present life. Hence, to clear all confusion with respect to the basic plot of the film, he feels that this 6 minute footage will help the audience understand what Dangerous Ishhq is all about. He says, "People don't know what is past life regression and a new film needs to have a fresh outlook, which we have tried to bring in."
The six-minute footage will go live on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
