PARK(ing) Day is an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and

citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks.

The

event aims to transform metered parking spaces into temporary public

places to call attention to the need for more urban open spaces and

discuss the creation and allocation of public spaces, according to
