"Now we have visited all the wards and we have seen the patients. We, as a crisis management committee shall play our role. We are going to see what we can do because some of them need to be taken outside the country in order to get better treatment and we have informed the doctors to prepare us the list."

SOUNDBITE 2 Major General Dr. Dau Aleu (man), SPLA Director General for Medical Complex (Arabic, 21 sec):

"We have brought wounded people from Bor, Malakal and Benteu in Pariang County. We now have 520 new patients and 467 old ones, the total of wounded currently are 987 people and I have given the total number to the vice president."
